The images shown here represent more than a year-long investigation into increasing support to the individual worker within Herman Miller’s Living Office eco-system.
Unlike static workstations of the past, which provided few healthful benefits, this workstation promotes movement and postural variability via a work platform that provides complimentary and distinct zones for sitting, standing, and reclining.
The workstation encourages movement within a work space, allowing a person to work in positions that are most productive for them throughout the day. It thoughtfully supports personal technology in each zone, allows work to be completed without interruption, and it provides a soft barrier for individuals in a collaborative work environment, mitigating visual and acoustical distractions and improving concentration.
The message of the workstation is simple: employee health, rest, and freedom of movement is respected in office culture.
